KILLING FLOOR 2 FLAMETHROWER PC
To get a better look at Hans Volter, the gentlemen at PC Gamer have uploaded video footage, which can be seen below. Look for other characters to debut in the coming months. Hans Volter is expected to be the first of several new bosses to debut as Killing Floor 2 goes through Early Access. The attack cut through my armor and health in the blink of an eye, leaving me the only member of my team to fall. In one last gasp, Volter dropped smoke and rushed my character, devastating me with a bombardment of explosives. During my time with the game, I was able to cut through Volter quickly with the flamethrower weapon, but overconfidence was soon my downfall. He'll also ward off packs of players by throwing down toxic clouds. It can also be awkward at close range, when the Firebug is forced to either fire at point-blank and sustain self-damage, or wait through the long weapon swap animation to pull out another weapon. He can rush players and grab them, sucking the life out of anyone in his clutches. At lower levels, the flamethrower may lack range, and for stronger enemies, damage output. Volter will shuffle onto the scene armed with poison packs and blades-a-plenty. Battles are frenetic with realistic gunfire and large.
Players use firearms, explosives, flamethrowers, and melee weapons (e.g., swords, buzz saws) to kills waves of mutated zombie creatures. Rather, Tripwire is debuting some new boss characters and has unveiled the first one today. This is a first-person shooter in which players assume the role of civilians and mercenaries fighting a zombie outbreak in Europe. The boss waiting at the end of the zed horde will not be the familiar Patriarch. Bloats die from one (maybe two )trench gun shot (s) if you let them burn to save ammo.
However, Tripwire Interactive does have a few new treats to shower onto players. With flamethrower, small zeds take one click (4 ammo) to kill, gorefasts take 8 ammo + a tiny bit of burn time, gorefiends take 2 trenchgun shots, or one to the head. For our brief hands-on impressions with Killing Floor 2, it was noted that much of the Steam Early Access version of the game will feel similar to the original Killing Floor.
